Entre os crit\u00e9rios adotados para a escolha, foram apontadas a oferta de \u00e1gua em quantidade e qualidade para a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o das mudas, a escolha do terreno, que possui solo levemente inclinado e f\u00e1cil acesso, e \u00e1rea com pouca sombra.<\/p>\n<p>O viveiro abastecer\u00e1 os quintais produtivos nas comunidades do munic\u00edpio e fornecer\u00e1 mudas para a\u00e7\u00f5es de plantio em \u00e1reas degradadas. As primeiras mudas plantadas foram de esp\u00e9cies forrageiras como a moringa e a gliric\u00eddia, de \u00e1rvores frut\u00edferas como o cajueiro, a goiabeira e o limoeiro, e tamb\u00e9m de plantas nativas da regi\u00e3o como o Pau Branco.
